Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic tattoo procedure where natural pigment is applied to the scalp via a needle to add density and replicate the appearance of natural hair follicles.
Who is suitable?
Scalp micro-pigmentation might be a suitable choice for those who are either not candidates for hair transplantation (as with alopecia areata, totalis and universlalis) and who equally don’t find wigs ideal. It can be used on both completely bald heads and can even be used to help camouflage thinning hair.
